How will I know my child is safe in the nursery?

All staff undergo an enhanced DBS (Disclosure Barring Service) check. Until received all staff are supervised and cannot be left alone with the children. 

Are staff allowed phones in the rooms?

No. All staff phones are kept in the office, parents are also exempt from using their phones in the rooms and corridor. 

When does the nursery open?

We open from 8:00am till 5:45pm. We are open 51 weeks of the year, closed on bank holidays and the week of Christmas.

What happens if my child is taken ill during nursery?

We have a sickness policy in place to ensure your child receives the correct treatment.

What is the adult to child ratio in the rooms?

Under 2's - 1:3

Over 2's - 1:5

3+ - 1:8

What happens if I am late for pickup?

We understand that occasionally there are traffic problems or other emergencies, please ring us as soon as you know you will be late so that we are able to arrange two staff members to stay behind. There is a grace period of 5 minutes after which you will be charged £1 a minute to pay the staff accordingly.
